I don't understand the logic of the thugs/looters who thought that by doing what they did would improve their lives. If they have a genuine reason for being dissatisfied with their lot then there are other ways of bringing it to our attention. Mind you I do think that Foreign aid should have been decreased in order to retain EMA and Youth projects here.

i am sorry for the lost generations but what about those in primary school now.
I say bring back parent / teacher / police power and damn human rights.
You stand up when the teacher enters the classroom and learn respect. Children should respect and to a degree fear their teachers.
Parents should be able to impose disapline without the nanny state saying you will be prosecuted for a smack ( not abuse)
The Police should be able to march a youth home by its ear and the youth should know the parents will co-operate

nowdays mums says to her 16 year old you are grounded and they laugh and walk out the door what can she do
human rights have to be earned, only a few are god given

As for a16 yr old like a 26 yr and 36 yr if you they have any respect for their parents they would do as they were asked.

my kids are in their late 20's and i had lost the power to disapline them, they were bigger than me
the boy always said can't do that mum can take youto Court as i went to swipe him round the ear
trouble was he was right
I am lucky they turned out well
but those running round the streets now, how do we sort them out
