I am now having trouble with Hot Matches. Nothing happens when I click on VIEW. I hadn't tried them recently, especially as previously had so much trouble accessing the Community Boards. Plus still have to keep siging in.

Compensation please GR. I want a years service for a years subscription.

I wouls imagine that this is a legal requirment. A little extra time for good will would help the paying members to regain their faith in GR.

At the moment these problems are causing a heap of bad publicity.
Change this asap! Fix your problems (yes, I know that you are trying).

And compensate your paying members.

having 42 matches with me.

I never even look at hot matches. Reading this thread has prompted me to do so.

Hey I've been included. I have three pages of hot matches, none of which I can view!!

It is the only problem I have with this site apart from an occasional maintenance report so not bothered about it. But if GR are handing out freebies, let me see...

I'd like a new lounge room carpet, and a new tub in the laundry, and I'm thinking about trading in the OH, although his cooking has improved!!!

Hmm might have to reconsider my requests and up the ante a little. Just discovered you can't discard the hot matches. You can select all or select individually and click discard but they are still there.

Think I'll have a red porsche and, nope that will do. I'll leave the cruise for later.

I´d be content with the site working properly.
Mind you, a few grand in the bank wouldn´t be sneezed at.

I have asked GR twice now whether there was any chance that data being entered while the thing is obviously unstable could be lost. Twice I have had their standard churned out message of trying to use back etc. But they haven't answered my question.

Regarding the hot matches..I only had one hot match which I hadn't discarded. Now I have 15 pages of ones that I have previously had and discarded and you can't view them or discard them, you're stuck with them!

Must admit...everything here is fine now, using Firefox:o))) no idea why, but very pleased!

This morning I checked my Matches and I have 41 which I cannot open.to say that I am cross is an understatement...... I decided a while ago to pay for
Platinum status and now this. At least six or seven of these Hot Matches claim to have more than 30 connections.

Not sure what to do next???

Any advice help etc is welcome. Thank you.

Don't know if this helps anybody but I've gained access to my tree using google chrome :-) :-)

And the bad news is They still have,nt sorted it out.Could,nt get on properly yesterday. :-S.**M**.

I still think we are entitled to a rebate!!!

I'm not sure what IE8 is, but does it account for the problem I am having trying to 'view' new matches in my hot matches. Previously contacted ones seme to be ok. :-S

IE8 is Internet Explorer the 8th edition, its your server, its how you get onto the internet.
Some people have found it has problems, so they download another server...like....

Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome....l am using M/Firefox. If you change, don't get rid of the excisting one.

Advice please, when I add a wife to a family tree. Do I put her Maiden name or the married name.
