Intresting thought Ginny,

Maybe we are not advanced enough to understand what is happening around us in the spirit world.

In the not so distant past our relatives lived without telephones, television electricity, x-rays, radio waves etc and the advances in medicine we have today were unheard of.
Just because people did not know of them didnt mean they didnt excist.
Things were just there waiting to be discovered.

So you believe in 'Guardian Angels'?

Nothing is tosh if someone believes in it..and if you havent experienced it then who can expect you to understand...I'm OK with that

Exactly Ginny,

There is no proof that there is an after life, same as there is no proof that there is a god, and I expect if you are a believer, you will say that there is no proof there isn't.
I have no problem with people believing in ghosts, ghoolies, spirits, demons, angels, gods or whatever, if it keeps them happy so be it.

For myself, I do not believe in ghosts, spirits, ghoolies, gods, or any other form of spiritual or religious happenings.
I don't care what people believe in, so long as they don't try to preach their beliefs to me.

Since tragic bathroom accident death of FIL I have had a few "paranormal" experiences,so has my wife.

Were I to outline the details most people would think I was making it up.

On a separate occaision while working night shift I was walking through a large locked garage that had only partial lighting.
An internal fire door that was chocked open slammed shut and an empty bottle on the floor spun!!
I got out pronto and didn't venture back in until daylight.

Well Foggy, I have to agree in principle

I have experienced "strange" things in the past, I won't lie to you, but I've always found a "normal" explanation......

I remember that reminiscence of your FIL when Margot' thread was posted last year

Gee

Gee Report 7 Feb 2011 21:19

Sorry I added your name as I realised the post I made was ambiguous

I have no problem whether people believe or not - personally I prefer to just remain open-minded. My objection is the ridicule that some people show others who do believe.

Not at all, just giving my opinion Ginny as I am entitled to do. Sorry it isn't the same as yours, no need to get out your pram!!

What has my board name got to do with the price of fish?

Gee

Gee Report 7 Feb 2011 21:24

Dont worry GA, I'm Ok and dont worry about me, I am not out of my pram but maybe I am something else

Gee

Gee Report 7 Feb 2011 21:25

Oh sorry... your board name suggests that you have some belief in 'Angels'?

Gee

Gee Report 7 Feb 2011 21:28

....and what books have you written please?

Guardian Angel

Guardian Angel Report 7 Feb 2011 21:32

Without going into minute detail, my nick name/board name was given to me some while back by some buddies outside of GR...

No Ginny, I don't believe in Angels like I don't belive in ghosts!

Gee

Gee Report 7 Feb 2011 21:35

Edit;...Sort off!
