Hi all, just a swift visit. I'm still busy with our Census. Now collecting forms, but at least many people have done it on line.

When I was delivering the forms it was very wet and windy: now I'm collecting them, the wild weather has moved in again. Typical Australians to hold the Census in the middle of our winter.

many collectors have thrown in the towel, which makes life diffficult.

I hope that you are all keeping well, especially you, Emma; may you dance the can-can before too long :-)

Emma, I hope your knee is coming along well now?

weather here is very hunid but looks like we might have rain shortly, over cast and windy.

Gosh I have had a busy week so far, hubby is off now for holiday until Septmeber, we have started the dreaded bedroom clear out, all the furniture bar the bed is now in the garden awaiting a trip to the tip, none of it is worth keeping or giving to anyone needy, its pretty shabby.
I didn't realise we had so much junk! and I'm not a hoarder.

New carpet being fitted next week and furniture to follow.

Allan we are in summer...meant to be and its wet and windy.I think we had summer in April/May. I think our camping will be over till next year.

Dolly...I need to have a clear out too,make more room for evn more toys etc for grandkids lol

Barbara.I'm waiting on a new Dyson coming,pity it doesnt iron too.
My 13 yr old one died last week,so went out and bought another one. Not as sturdy as my old one but thats life I suppose.

At last am beginning to get back to my old self, now don't
know if that is a good thing or not but OH has said he has missed
my out burst of singing to him when he least expects it, so on that
note off to give him a blast from the past. clears throat ready for action,

Rain drops keep falling on my head la la ........sigh

Hello all, hope you are all keeping fit and looking after
yourselves.
I was just thinking that life doesn't half throw a curved ball
at times especially when resistance is low. In past week 3
deaths with family and friends, suppose at my age its' not
unusual that this happens.

Marion, I could never go camping in the UK! When we lived there, we had a little 12' caravan and that was as basic as we wanted to go :-S

Barbra, we are the opposite. days still wet but starting to warm up a little.

Emma, I am pleasede you are back on the boards and your knee is behaving, even if it is a bit slow for you. :-)

Weather here today and yesterday has been lovely, all the windows wide open to dry the paint and get rid of the smell, I now have a bedroom the colour of ' willow tree' poor hubby, I should have remembered he is colour blingd and finds green the hardest colour to see, he thinks it looks like a dirty white :-0 I think it looks great!

Off for a shower now and get ready for bed, I want an early sit down and watch some tv as I am pretty tired tonight.

Morning a.ll

i like camping Allan if it's good weather.We have electric hook up which makes it easier ,light,kettle,cooking ring and the laptop to watch a DVD when its to we to sit outside.Wouldnt go rough camping out in the wilds though.

Went to Glasgow yesterday for a look at George Square.The street names have been changed for the new film World War Z with Brad Pitt.Didnt see him though. Lot of American cars,trucks etc about the streets.
Must see the film when it comes out.

Morning All. a damp day but sun is trying to break through the clouds !! been to Glasgow twice Marion .very busy place .My neice & her partner love camping .they have two tents .one for them & one for two daughters. electric hook up as you have .its great as they have found it relaxing & great with the children ..Have a good Day ~~~Rory & All Barbra

Morning everyone,

I've never been to Scotland, I have rellies that came from their but not traced that side of the family back yet. Is brown a very common name in Scotland? my rellies came from Dalkeith.

Weather here today is gorgeous, very warm and sunny. Andy and I are off for a couple of days away, not very far from home here, about a couple of hours, still in Sussex, we are going to Rye, well near their, the place we are staying at is Ivychurch, it over looks Romney Marsh, my dad grew up around that area, and we visited Rye a lot when I was a child, holidays and such like.

I'll be back on here wednesday.
