No, the carpenter was Mary's husband, Frank.
Jesus's father was allegedly God.
Married woman impregnated by another - there's a term all religions have for that. It may be a different word, but it means the same.
And I believe all religions have a law against it!

Joseph...........

He was good with the wood and would if he could
be the father of God's only son.

But would it be good if he could with the wood
hold a job down and be number one.

And then with the wood it could also be good
to work hard so that no one would shun.

The good man with the wood who never have could
been the father of Jesus the son.

Frank.

lol.....oh Frank my dear friend, you haven't lost your touch have you? It's good to meet up again. The good thing about friendship is that we can still be friends even though we don't agree on everything :))

Hi Janey - if you're about.

For the record, I didn't offer up "whither thou goest" as an endorsement of the story that went behind it, but rather as a defence against Rose and her reference to "dreaded bible verses"

And - because it moves me - I'll repeat it

"Entreat me not to leave thee, and to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God"

Having read this, I find it most amusing, people have different beliefs ( and are entitled to them) religion has caused more wars and strife than anyother thing, which in itself is not nice. however, re the Pope,s Visit. and the belief that there should not be Women Priests/Vicars etc. I saw a Photo of him in the Paper with all his Cardinals, and a thought came to mind about a Film "Men in Tights" the photo seemed to me to be the Sequel." Men in Frocks".:o))>.**M**.
