Of course I had a pea shooter, catapult, air riffle, shot gun. I was a boy and a man. Now i'm just a silly old codger. Jane would agree as would most of you.

Must tell you. Our kettle filter is all cracked , so I ordered a new one from Spares2 g# When it arrived it wouldn't fit, so sent it back asking for the correct one. Had an Email to say it was the right one, So I said OK send it back. when it arrived yesterday ROS fitted it within 2 minutes. I called her a smart ARS# Arn't you woman annoying !!!!

You youngsters talk about all these different sweets, which wern't around my local shop. Mars bars, gobstoppers, loose sweets in jars, liquorice sticks and wheels, but we couldn't afford them.Once I got my milkround then paper round things changed. But I needed a bike, fishing rod and tackle, sports things., and didn't realy have a sweet tooth.Thats why I kept all my own teeth, till after my stroke, then they seemed to work loose at the slightest thing, and had to come out.

Dad made the garage for my Christmas present one year.He made my dolls house, and go cart ,oh and stilts.
Us ladies aren't annoying Frank,just clever !!

Pear Drops.I loved them but boy didn't they do awful things to the skin in your mouth .Especially the hard ridge just behind the top teeth,

I went camping on Dartmoor with school.I think it was for geography. It rained the whole time and in the middle of the night a herd of cattle trampled the toilet tent. The ground sheets didn't fit properly and everything got soaked, and the tents stunk.I was never that keen on camping.I like my home comforts too much lol.
I think a bit of hanky panky went on too between some of the girls and boys.

Frank Report 17 Jul 2010 17:06

OH, Jane, did you miss out. Did the teachers behave themselves ?????

Jane

Jane Report 17 Jul 2010 17:20

Not telling Frank lol No I behaved that year.I only remember my geography teacher being there. He was busy chucking boys out of girls tents half the time I think.
I don't think I ever imagined teachers misbehaving.Although thinking back I reckon some did !!My French teacher was a bit of a one.

Sheila Report 17 Jul 2010 20:11

Jane already knew everyones age
Mel told me before I joined the site
only asked Shirl on Tracey because
she sent a message to someone saying
i think Sheila is the same age as me.
then I found a mail about Cairns me having asked her a
question. I asked how old she was because
she had said I was the same age
then I said thats if you do not mind me asking some
people do not like to give there age Then everyone
sent their age to me including david who I have never
had a message from. I do not think it matters how old we all are we all are on the site to chat and I enjoy the site.

I had a Saturday job washing cars at a garage. This is long before the automated car wash.I was about 14-15.The occupants stayed in the car.I distinctly recall enjoying the view of the female drivers or passengers and so often the male driver would get out to tell me I'd missed a bit
