Cheeky Boy! Frank .Don't worry Mel,don't go out specially. I just stopped at lights outside a church and there was the hearse with 2 beautiful black horses .Their manes were lovely and crinkly as though they had been crimped.

Much cooler day and more cloud .
As it was cooler i've been pulling some weeds up in the front garden. A Police Helicopter has been circling over the town , so somethings happening !
I look in the Eastern Daily Press to see if there was anything reported about the accident that hubby saw on Saturday ,but there was nothing in there ,it might be in our local paper on Thursday.

I was going to ask you Mandy if there had been any report of the accident. I have a pile of cards and pressies waiting for me on the big chair.A lovely bouquet from Fitz and his wife, but I have had to put them in the porch window as the scent id overpowering.I feel really bad but I think I would feel ill if I had them in here. I have weeded out the front, hoovered and done washing, and now I will have a little read.

Thats too hot Shirl. It has gone up quickly hasn't it.It was only yesterday or the day before you said it was 28.I think we will be back at 28 towards the end of the week. I was thinking if we had all been friends as children I would have invited you all to my Birthday party lol.We would play ,pass the parcel, musical bump, burst the balloon(which I hated),musical statues, and a favourite of mine was 2 teams with a small bowl of died peas at one end of the room and an empty bowl at the other end.We each had a straw and had to suck the pea and keep it on the end of the straw while running to get it in the empty bowl.First team to get all the peas in were the winners. There always be a row about something and someone saying "Oh it's not fair" lol You take care in that heat our Shirl.

Those horses would probably be Friesian horses Jane. One of my favourite breeds, always black and on my wish list!!! lol They are often used for hearses and have a nice steady temperament. The crinkly mane and tail would be natural.
We had a SETBACK with the new trellis this morning. It wouldn't fit between the last post and the new one we put in. It turns out the 2 new concrete edging stones we fitted between the posts are an inch shorter than the ones we used for the rest. #!!!**!!# decimalisation!!!! OH had to take a lath off the end of the trellis panel and shorten it to fit.
When MIL said she was having an 'at home' with the neighbours popping in for her diamond wedding anniversary, I foolishly said I would do a buffet for them. Now she is inviting all and sundry including rellies from lincolnshire and the list to cater for has doubled since then and another month to go for her to invite more!! I better start getting paper plates/serviettes and plastic glasses in!! I'll have to look for some BOGOF deals nearer the time. lol, lol
I wonder what is happening to bring out the helicopter Mandy? We often see one because it is kept a quarter of a mile away at the Police HQ near here.

What a b***** with the trellis Ann.Nothing ever goes totally without a hitch does it. I didn't think of those horses being a special breed.I will look them up.They were beautiful. I just had an email from Maureen to say everything went fine yesterday and it is now sorting her Mums clothes etc.She scattered the ashes today with her Brother and children. We have a baby rabbit that seems to be bigger each day !!!!!.I think Chester has given up trying to chase it.But the poor one with Myxamatosis is still about.Chester saw it and started to run,but when I said leave it he stopped Good Boy.I know it is best if he killed it ,but if he didn't and it was only half done and squealing I would have a breakdown or something as I could not finish it off. Enough of sick rabbits.Mandy you were right Chester quite likes the spray on his bum lolol.I have not had to chase him once.

Hi All Glad I popped in to say hello or I would have missed saying ♥♥♥♥ HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANE♥♥♥♥♥ and that would never do. Hope you had a lovely day,
Been to Glasgow today went on the train with Daughter no 1 and Sofia, it was the first time Sofia had been on a train she slept going there but was awake on the journey back, she didn't like the ladies voice coming over the tannoy telling the passengers which station you were arriving in. was very puzzled . we had lunch in town and went to House of Fraser to spend a £50 gift voucher that SIL had recived from his workmates at his old job. Daughter wanted some new tops but found nothing, so spent the money on some new underwear. need to go phone ringing BBL

I bet Chester likes it because it's nice and cooling, I must try it on myself, to see what it's like !!!!!
Glad you had plenty of pressies Jane, hope there were some you really- really wanted.
If I had been invited to your party as a child, I wouldn't know what to have done, we never had birthday parties as a child. The first one I remember was my 21st.My ex and MIL did a big spread, for Aunt Rose. who lived round the corner. When I said she should do it herself, they let it out that it was FOR ME !!!! All my brothers and sisters were invited. but only three turned up out of eight. My actual 21st was spent baby sitting for my Commanding Officer in the RAF. They had their Christmas do in the Mess, and I always baby sat for them. He would always leave me a crate of beer and his wife would leave me a steak with all the trimming. When I was ready for bed , would just go up. He would pay me more than I earnt in a week, and always take me back to my billet the following morning after a hearty breakfast
When we had a young offenders institute at Tiffield, which is the next village to us, The Police Helicopter was always about searching for the little Bugge#s as they would always escape at night. Break into narrow boats and do loads of damage, also terrorize the neighbourhood, I have been called out by my friend, when they tried breaking into his house and car. I went round with PICK AXE SHAFT at the ready, to defend myself if needed. The local police had their hands full with that lot. It finally closed down a few years ago.THANK GOD
That Myxi was a terrible thing to give to the rabbits, and it's gone on for so many years. You can still see them on a regular basis, around the countryside.

If you had been at my party Frank I bet you would have been the one in trouble lol.Doing knee skids on the floor and being cheeky to us girls !
That spray cost nearly £22 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. It better do the trick. I can't find the Take Away Menu, but luckily have the phone number.I think we all know what we like, so it shouldn't be a problem ordering.I am getting hungry now ,but don't think we will be eating until about 8 o clock.Maybe a glass of wine will stave off the hunger lol

Talking about rabbits; On the south side of the Manors roundabout in Newcastle I saw beyond the railing 4 rabbits nibbling the grass yesterday, immune from the nearbye traffic.
