Look forward to the piccies of your new puss Maureen......bless him! You will be playing now instead of painting......but he is a lucky little chap to find a home with you. How are the other cats with him??

That film we went to see was a bit strange......too much shooting and explosions for me and a confusing storyline. lol Still the vanilla crunch and caramel chew chew icecream was lovely.

I think Beryl might get on my nerves after a bit too Sheila......funny though she is! You must wonder what's going to happen next.

My next door neighbour had a son aged 39 in hospital with a brain tumour.
His condition worsened and he died about 18 months ago.
His name? Ralph, the same as my brother.
How's that for a coincidence?

My brother Ralph was discharged from hospital yesterday to his own home.
He is on the mend, we hope.

I am going to the pictures tomorrow morning with Fitz to see 'The Ghost'.Not quite sure what it is but Fitz reckons it is my kind of film.We will see.I just take a bottle of water with me and a pack of extra strong mints.I don't think I could cope with that wonderful sounding icecream Ann, or pick and mix at 10.30 in the morning lol

Is that that one with Woopy Goldberg as a fake memium in it? If it is it's an excellent film.

Bery just phoned and said was I a pain today sorry I said yes you were a pain and she said why thats what I put up with .I said lets give it a rest for a while I think we see so much of each other it was nice when we did not see so much of each other. She said we are not bound to the hip girl whats your problem. I said you right now and she said
my loos bunged up it must have been that newspaper I used earlier out of toilet pape used the Sun cannot stand that. I wish she would just come on the phone and say hello
Sheila sorry I was a idiot today but no not her. Who uses newspaper for the loo and runs out of it .

Sorry you did not enjoy the film Ann they do not make any of those nice romances or musicals they used to make
I used to love the cinema was a usherette one shilling and sixpence a hour 12 until 10pm Saturday and
7 until 1Opm Thursday after a day stuffing teddies at a toy factory I used to love to shine my torch on the back row all those kissing couples they used to jump apart it was so funny but was hopeless at finding seats for people I used to show someone to a seat and say there is only one and
in those days you were lucky to get one never mind two or three and people would say hey love come and tell me if there is a seat together and me I could not remember where I put them. But they used to find each other if a seat was empty but most late comers sat on there own .9penny seats and one shilling and sixpence was posh. Those were the days.

Think I may have said Sheila that MIL was an usherette. She used to flash her torch at FIL as he was the projectionist. The minx! To top it all her mum used to run the cloakroom. Talk about keep it in the family! I have a photo of her mum in the uniform they all wore......did you have a uniform too? I'm off to watch a programme about the Normans now.

Hope you enjoy the film Jane......I often 'smuggle' a bottle of water in in my handbag.......well the prices are silly. lol

Don't tell me you've all gone to bed already !!!!

Got Alfie sitting on my lap while I'm typing, he has no sense of balance so could fall off anytime. He sits up to wash his underbits but loses his balance and rolls backwards.

Shirl. if you add a B you get BOG ....lol

Never known anyone like Beryl, not sure we would have stayed friends for very long.

It's very strange, when Oscar walked in and saw Alfie I think he thought it was a toy, but when he moved it scared the living daylights out of him and he shot upstairs. He has been keeping his distance ever since and only comes in for breakfast and supper. What a big whoose, Alfie can't be much bigger than Oscar's head. Coca is very cautious too but keeps coming around and sniffing him and has given him the occasional lick so I'm hoping she will take him under her wing.

The film I'm seeing tomorrow just came out this year (I think). Two well known actors in it.I will let you know tomorrow lol.Hopeless aren't I ?
Last time I saw the price of a bottle of water at the pictures was £2 10.It has no doubt gone up since then .

Jane

Jane Report 18 Aug 2010 21:49

Jane

Jane Report 18 Aug 2010 22:03

Maureen ,I didn't mean you aren't Mum, but it would be nice if your Coca could take the role.

Morning Jane

White fluffy clouds this morning and lots of blue sky but I think the sun must be there somewhere. Had planned to go out with friends for a meal tomorrow night we usually meet up at the end of every month BUT there's a new chef taken over the cooking and has decided to spicen up the dishes and I am finding very hard to to choose any dish that has no spices, garlic or is not highly seasoned , It can sometimes be a bit pricey &OH says i'm daft to spend the money if I don't enjoy the food.
I've done my exercises off to have a shower
