Evening all ! Hope I have replied to everyone.

Going back to the idea of sending out once or twice a week. Think it may depend on how busy everyone is and how the 'juices' flow. But a once a week topic is good. It is good for me personally to have some discipline in what to write, so look forward to next one from someone.

Hi all, I am swamped with work to reply to! So far I have only written one piece, not because I can't write more, but because I am determined to reply to all you lovely ladies before I send more of my own out.

I spent all day Tuesday replying and I am still behind!

Helen, I wouldn't beat yourself up too much about not replying. If it distracts from you writing, leave the replies and write your own

I wonder if anyone would mind me doing something out of the ordinary? Since this is also about learning from other people's work and comparison maybe...

BC's piece reminded me about something I started some years ago.... and I dug it out . I think the difference between BC's and mine , on a similar subject, highlights the big gap between someone writing in an 'authentic voice' (BC) and someone looking in 'from a distance'.....

I don't think it will be hard to see how much better BCs is than mine lol, and why. Would that be ok ? it has taught me a lesson and might help others?

By the way I do have another chapter of all the fun of the fair to send out but I will do that tomorrow.

that's good Ann, it will give me some more to read tomorrow night in bed lol .... I'll send tomorrow also as really should get off to bed soon...painting again tomorrow . And then maybe tomorrow evening I can get around to commenting on everything I have received ...I'm way behind.

Anne, i am sure others will understand if you don't reply to their work, some of us are busier than others.

Just keep up with each week's assignment when you can... please don't drop out just because you can't keep up
