Jane l still haven't seen him stand up, will try and get up the hospital tomorrow weather permitting and might catch Ed having a little walk, lol.
Do know that after 6 weeks he needs a haircut but don't think he will be able to go to his barber, oh well l've got a pudding bowl and some scissors, lol. xx

Make sure that you start setting into place any aids you might need to borrow depending on your house. You may need a bath chair for a while,or a frame to fit around the toilet,so that there are "arms"" he can push onto help him stand up

The hospital physio team should be able to arrange these things for you . They often want to come and do a home visit so they can help as much as possible

Nothing wrong with a pudding bowl lol.It will be like the old days!!!!
Make sure Eddie has a care package set up BEFORE he comes home so everything is in place for him.
