HI Mummo, so glad Eddie's feeling better. You post when you feel like posting hun, when you need to.

Trust me, hospital chips are not worth worrying about....the ones I had were small, half-cooked, and cold. YUK!

LOL....no chips, glad Eddie is feeling bit better and is happy it makes your life much easier.....................as the saying goes the only way is up.

Hello Mummo ......your latest post made me come out in goose pimples....lol.....I'm so very happy to know that Eddie is truly on the road to recovery now , there is nothing quite like being on a ward with other folk in a similar situation to help them all along . I had to grin about the chips ....as it reminded me of the evening that some of my friends sneaked fish and chips into me when I was stuck in the hospital for eight weeks .........LOL
I know Eddie still has a long way to go and you will still both face hurdles but we are always here for you , to listen as you let off steam or have a down moment .
Well done to both of you for having faced this awful accident with the courage that you have .

So pleased that Eddie has got this far, there are bound to be hurdles to overcome as time goes by but we are here as ans when you need us. My thoughts will stay with you both. I wont be on line tomorrow or most of Sunday, will be a bit nearer to you, visiting daughter near Winchester.

What a relief for you all,I'm so happy for Eddie that he's now with some good people which I'm sure will help him in the recovery process and will also be a weight of your mind knowing he's with " friends ".

Morning all, just sitting here with a cup of tea and thought l'd give you a quick update.............Ed is so much better now, he is getting restless though as he isn't allowed to move and that is killing him but he knows it won't be for ever and that he has been very lucky.
I do feel disappointed that his employer hasn't contacted me at all ( a well known supermarket ) as Ed really did care about his job.
When Ed was in Intensive care one of the other men used to get a visitor and l kept saying to Ed that l knew him from some where but my mind wouldn't recall where (lol) well yesterday l suddenly remembered , he was one of the antique dealers on Dickinsons Real Deal, l hate it when l can't recall who is who !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My daughter is due to come back on Wednesday and is staying for 3 weeks so l am looking forward to that.
