Fry' Tiffin I think. Advertized on Radio Luxembourg.

Fry's Chocolate Cream "Go on, spoil yourself."

How about Munchies and that mint version of them.

Every Monday after primary school I went to tap class and was always allowed to buy a Tiffin Bar.I loved them.Do they still make Tiffin Bars.I think it was Cadburys.

I`m not so sure its always our taste that changes , I think they don`t make them in the same way, maybe sustituting one thing with another.
some things are definately different.....Wagon Wheels is the most obvious, not only are they smaller, thay taste "dry", or "stale" and it`s not proper chocolate that covers them.......well, thats what I think anyway ! lol !

Just to say, I saw some sherbet spaceships today and I loved them as a kid and so I bought some, but I do not like them now, our tastes must change as we get older.

talking of fillings coming out of teeth reminds me of Toffee Whirls !!! They were a toffee, with a white whirley whirl bit....(well, I know what I mean!!)
I ate one secretly in class one day in the dim & distant past, & it pulled my filling out !!! I couldn`t say anything about my pain as I`d have got into serious trouble for eating in class !! but boy... !!! do I remember it now !
( honeycomb does the same...but I love that too !)

Nothing can remove your fillings quite as effectively as a Nuttall's Mintoe!

There was a brand of bubble gum called Boyfriend and there was a card with a picture of a pop star inside along with the piece of gum.

I remember collecting Cliff Richard and Billy Fury and Dennis Lotus who didn't thrill me quite as much.

I remember Penny Arrows ! long thin strips of chewy toffee !
I also remember Tiger Nuts , but I prefered Chewing Nuts... (tiny choc covered balls of toffee)
My Mum always got herself a quarter of Coconut Mushrooms on a Saturday, or maybe a quarter of Rum & Butter Toffees....but she didn`t like me having them....the drink, you know !!
I also liked the 4 -a -penny sweets...blackjacks, fruit salads & mojos.
but I never bought 1d gob-stoppers as they took too long to eat.
I remember that bubble gum then was really juicy & was a big pink lump of gum, wrapped up, & it blew excellent bubbles that sometimes burst on your face !!! (and we would re-wrap it for `next time` ! how gross was that !!)
happy days...so long as it never got in your hair !!
