Fran, if your husband was anywhere near as good a man as my husband has been (still alive but with alzheimers) then you have lost a marvellous treasure, so my deepest sympathy.

Huia.

Fran,
Have just been adding to my thread about my Dad and thought that I would add to the threads that are asking for positive thoughts and saw yours. I was going to say that we were in a similar boat worrying about someone dear to us, then I saw the devistating news that your hubby had passed away.
My love and thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this very sad time.

Take care
God Bless you.

At times like this we cope the best we can, we may not feel we are functioning well but others may see us doing ok. It's natural to feel confused and stressed and sometimes the adrenalin of doing all that is necessary keeps us going and we don't even find time to grieve properly. I know that's what happened when my Dad died, I was trying to help my Mum as well as look after my young son who had been so close to Dad, and it was hard to deal with.
You take care and let things out when you can, there is always someone around here to listen if needs be.

Lizx

I did nudge up the Remember me thread as there are some lovely verses on the thread that will bring healing tears - will nudge it again.
