I don't know exactly what to say other than we are all here if you need us, you are a fighter and your mum was right to say you are a little toughie I am praying that you and your family stay strong and keep positive, miracle's do happen and I truely believe that. |

Alison my dad died four years ago and he was a real "shed" man. We had been plodding along trying to sort stuff out, but with needing to put the house on the market we just had to knuckle down to it. OH has been a brick, poor bloke worked so hard to clear out the garage, workshop and two sheds, not forgetting the loft. The rest of the inside of the house has not been bad because like me, mum was a tidy person. she had been filling charity bags for ages, getting rid of all sorts she didn't need or want. I have cleared out a lot, but there is still lots of stuff there. The house is nice and presentable to sell, however long that will take, so eventually once we need to empty it, it shouldn't be too bad - well that is what I am telling myself anyway. |

Alison my husband always tries to call dads collections junk. The problem is that whenever he needed anything, you could bet your bottom dollar that dad would have something suitable. |

Have something nice for breakfast Alison. It is supper time here,so I might go and make some. I have been looking up some things for a contact in Australia. I went and found some headstones for her last year as we have an ancestor in common. |

Gipsy is a beaut name! When Dad died, we "inherited" his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that he took on a few months earlier. Dad had not long lost Mac, who was actually Mum's dog. Mac helped Dad with his grief and they were best mates. The vet had this Cavi who needed a home and he thought of Dad. Dad went over to the vets "just to have a look" and brought the dog home. So, now Harry is ours. My youngest loves him to bits and cuddles him constantly, whether the dog wants to or not! My oldest boy is Harry's favourite. He sleeps with him and my husband just loves Harry. The dog gets a lot of loving!! |
