Goodness me. You are not listening, are you???
I specified that Allan could sit at the STERN of the boat and smoke his cigars. For the non-nautical of you, that's the BACK of the boat!
I also said we had to have a headwind - so the smoke blows off the back of the boat and downwind - to where we have already been!!

Diane - you can join him and blow your smoke the same way. As long as the boat keeps moving, you should be right. However, if we have to anchor somewhere, we might have to drop you off in one of the lifeboats when you want to have a ciggie. Don't worry though. We'll tie it to the cruiser - on a long rope - and winch you in when you have finished your smoke.

Tec - don't forget Linda and Berona are in charge:-))

Hi, Barbra - I was wondering where you were.

Diane Report 4 Nov 2009 22:58

Fine thank's Barbra just tired as usual, haven't watched Waterloo Road is that the one based on Liverpool, or am I getting mixed up with Liverpool one.

Diane

Allan

Allan Report 4 Nov 2009 22:59

I'm fine thanks, Barbra. I will be getting ready for another few hours in the office soon.

Tec, When Scott Mackenzie had his song "When You Go to San Francisco"
( cant recall the actual title) I was doing my Army Reserve recruits Course at Keogh Barracks in Ash Vale.
Everytime we went into thr NAAFI the song was being played on the juke box

I love the music of that era. Nothing beats it for me. My family often encourage me to listen to some of their favourites and currently I'm listening to Amy Winehouse. She's got such a smoky voice although her personal life isn't the best.

Tec, I having a few ideas but of course I can't post them on here. The girls might see them.

I'll start a new Thread!

PMSL Berona, well I suppose that's better than nothing, which is what Linda said,
Hi Sue are you around until the weekend or do you leave us before then, I'm dreading what the lad's are going to get up too, but then again Berona and Linda will keep them well in check

Diane

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Nov 2009 23:07

Well I reckon Allan and I are cute enough to give Berona and Linda the runaround, they won't catch us, we'll be gone.

If I'm Captain of the ship, then as far as I'm concerned, anything goes. It will be one big non stop party. People can smoke if they wish, drink till they're legless, dance 'till they're legless, whatever. It'll be a riot, you'll never want to go home from my party.

PMSL Allan, but how dare you be so horrible I think we should drop you off in Coventry ( not speak to you ) in case you don't know what that exspression mean's.

Allan, I can remember a song that drove me insane for a whole year wherever I went around the world, but especially off the West coast of America whenever you put the radio on.....

"She wore an itscy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikiny"

makes me cringe even now thinking about it,

Allan - don't even THINK about it! Starting a new thread indeed! Do you think we won't find you?

It merely means that I will be doing less transcribing - having to pop in here after each page instead of only occasionally - just to check on you - but I'll find you!

Tecwyn Report 4 Nov 2009 23:16

Allan - you're psychic! Young Girl was played on the radio here only a matter of minutes ago!

Tec - your idea of you being Allan and Allan being Tec - my! what a vivid imagination you must have!

Diane we are hoping to leave Friday morning but the weather here isn't good at the moment so we may wait until Saturday. It's supposed to be clearing up north where we're headed.

Must be off as I have a few things to do before we head off. Hopefully I'll be on this evening (Aussie time).

Sweet dreams to our up top friends and have a good day Aussies:-))
