Sorry I dipped out on you. Yes, I went to the freezer, but I can't fall in - it's an upright - otherwise I probably would fall into it!
I had a couple of emails to answer and moved onto transcribing and once I start, I keep going until I complete a page (150 records). Maybe I'm still asleep!?! It's a good thing the transcribing is checked many times!
Good evening/good night to the Poms. Linda, I'll be thinking of you. What time is the funeral? I'm sure you will feel so much better once it's over. How is the cold? Diane - I hope you do learn to relax and take care of yourself!
Just remembered that Allan has left us for a while. You're a brave man, Tec. Should we put out a call for Colin to come and support you?

Hello all :-))
Janet..I'm a bit like you in that I leave my Christmas shopping to the last minute, but I always seem to bring it all together before the 25th!!! Christmas day has always been my favorite day of the year, its doubly special for me as its my birthday!
Berona..I'm glad your freezer is an upright, the next washing machine I purchase will be a front loader..I'm sick of bending over into the one I have, as I'm only 5.2 I have to nearly climb into the thing to get the smalls of the bottom of the machine..I hope someone doesn't come up behind me one day and push me in, ha ha!!
Linda..I will be thinking of you on Tuesday, I hope the weather is kind :-)
Diane.. I hope you manage to have some me time, sounds like you could really do with an extended holiday...you should start planing for one!!!
A big hello to Alison the beautiful one :-))) Also a big hello to Sue, Tec, Allan and Colin. Sorry if Ive missed anyone, I'll blame day light savings (Hi)

Good morning/evening all. After a few miserable days it looks like being a nice day here today. Need the rain but love the sun:-))
I miss Allan and his humour as I'm sure everyone does. Roll on Wednesday:-)
Carole the school holidays went fast. It's the first week of school holidays here.
Diane, I wish I could say something that would make things easier for you.
Alison, pull your swelled head in - we're all beautiful:-))
Linda I'll be thinking of you. Hope you can sleep well tonight as you have a long day ahead of you. Saying goodbye is never easy.

Hi Pat - nice to see you. I've been looking at the temps. in different areas of England and autumn has definately arrived. Our temps are going up and down - hot one day and then cold and miserable.
Diane - glad you're feeling a little brighter. The way you've been feeling it's amazing you haven't done serious damage to your neighbours:-)) Still if you went to prison you'd get a good rest.

Good morning Sue - good evening Pat and Diane. Now, there's something we could do - encourage Diane to go up and clobber the neighbours. She would be put in gaol and THAT would make her have a rest!
Where's Tec? Is he afraid to face the women alone?
Blue skies and sunshine again after the wet three-day weekend. Typical!!

Good Morning/Evening Everyone,
Berona.......I am so pleased to see that you are not upside down in the freezer - I was quite concerned yesterday when you disappeared - had visions of you being dragged out looking like the ice maiden. For the record, I am not afraid of you girls, a little wary maybe. I was once "kidnapped" by three nuns, and survived, but that's another story.
Diane......Glad you're feeling a little more upbeat, but that's no excuse for taking vengeance on the neighbours. I shall watch the news to see if there's been a massacre in The Pool.
Sue.........Hope the day stays fine for you - Spring is sprung

Hi Diane......... I don't where the others have gone too - they did this to me last night, ran away, leaving me standing in the corner of the playground alone, like Billy No Mates. I wouldn't mind so much, but I take a shower before I come on here, get dressed up in my very best suit, bow tie, top hat - and they just vanish - wait 'till Allan gets back, we'll give em some stick.

Tec, I think you should start writing a book. These 'incidents' which have happened, and which you don't elaborate on here, must make good reading!
You reminded me of why I don't have a chest freezer. My mother had one and she, being a few inches shorter than I, would often be found half-in, half-out of the freezer, looking for something at the bottom. I often found her dangling there, feet well off the floor; posteria in the air, and the top half missing! How often I would rush in saying "Mum, I'll get it for you" - and that's why I NEVER considered a chest freezer. I am too good at losing things, so I have them on shelves where I can easily reach the back!
I now have a little upright freezer in the corner of my small garage. I gave away the big one when I moved here. However, I have never learned to stop buying bulk wherever possible, so even though I only buy for one now, my little freezer isn't big enough and every time I bring home the shopping, the battle of fitting everything in begins again!

Berona........... The description of your mother delving into the bottom of the chest freezer, is identical to what happens here. My OH is only 5ft-1ins, we have a chest freezer, and an upright fridge-freezer, because we are a distance from the shops. I frequently find her upside down in there. One day the lid is going to drop on her, and that will be that. Will the neighbours believe it was an accident - will I be sharing a cell with Diane?
Incidents? There have been some very bizarre incidents in my life, that although true and factual, nobody would believe, so I am reluctant to share them. I seem to attract weird and wonderful situations.

Don't know where everyone is to-day, but I have to be away.
I suppose it's time for all of you Poms to hit the hay. I am running later thatn usual because I'm still adjusting to putting the clocks forward at the weekend, so I must away.
Good night, sleep tight - or have a nice day!

Good Morning Alison, How are you today? Normal...........that's a laugh, they're not normal, all nutters. Anyway, I prefer quirky people, far more interesting. I do hope you're not too normal Alison, and I don't think you can be, as you post on here regularly .....welcome to the funny farm.
