With hubby still not working might be a while before I can save up and buy one so can only come on line when I am at my daughters and her little one is sleeping.
Hope you are all keeping well and managing to keep nice and warm it is so cold here today again but at least it is not raining.

Hi Jo, what a nuisance for you. Here's hoping your husband finds a job soon. Hope you are feeling better although yous till mention the dizzyness so i guess you still have it. Good job you can get to your daughters anyway and use hers.
Not made any cards lately as we were away for four weeks but had better get around to making some more as stocks are depleted. Hope everyone usually on here is well. We are not very good at making an appearance on this thread these days are we?

Hi all, Well I am still dead tired and fall asleep just anywhere. I am having B1 injections 3 times a week because my blood is not good. They have also increased my thyrax dosage, so should be up and running about soon! Another problem has returned though, and that is my cystitis. As soon as I feel well enough Johan and I want to go to Rotterdam, which is where he was born. It is a lovely town and we can meet up with nephews and nieces and Johan's sister when we get there. Last Saturday Johan's sister and her daughter, our niece, came for a visit. I was absolutely knocked out when they finally went around 8.00 pm. I had done lots of cooking etc. and really not up to it. Will try and keep in touch. I had a note from Issy that she has had trouble accessing GR. Sylvia xxx

Sylvia sorry to see that you are still not feeling well, hope things start to improve for you soon.
So sorry that I have not been around still no laptop so can only get on when at daughters or I have to go to the village to the library and their opening times are so limited and so is the computer access!!
Hope everyone is OK.
I will send out a group email for the next 3 months ATCs as some of you did not receive the one from Issy, sorry will not be able to join in the travel swap as with no computer have little to make them with, no backings or decoupage or anything else.
Have received a phone call from Barbara in Cornwall who is recovering from her operation in February but has had to move house as the small holding she lived in with her late husband was set well away from anyone and as she was restricted from driveing was on her own all the time. I will send her new address out to you all when I get the letter from her with it in.
I am at the hospital all day tomorrow with my vertigo which is no better, but will be at daughters on Saturday again so will be able to get on the pc again then.
Take care all of you. Joxx

Sylvia, so sorry that you were still not feeling 100%, and also Jo that you are still troubled by vertigo, do they have any idea what is causing it?
I spent all afternoon today making a 21st card for our eldest Grandson, I am actually rather pleased with it, I do find boys difficult to make for but I have used black, red and silver and it looks effective if I say so myself.
Not many of us get on this thread now which is a shame.

Hi everyone, sorry that I have not been posting. I still have the vertigo on and off and the hospital think I have a virus in my head!! which is making my eyes focus at slightly different speeds and likewise for my ears, this is then causing the dizzyness. Should clear up in a few months they say Think I will have gone round the bend by then.
I am at my daughters for 3 days so should find the time to come on vertigo permitting. Hopefully will get a new computer very soon.
Jude I love my alphabet from cuttlebug, it is so useful do use it a lot and have not found that it is any different. But I do tend to cut out several thicknesses at a time. Like Ann I use tin foil, a couple of thicknesses and cut through it several times also very fine sandpaper may help.
Sylvia sorry to hear that you are not well at the moment, hope the doctor manages to get you sorted out soon.
I am melting as well so hot here again today, me I am a winter person, love the snow so this is killing me!
Take care everyone

Hi all, Well I will try to come on here now and again. I sent out all the birthday girls cards for July out just in case they whipped me off to hospital. They do funny things here sometimes. Anyway I had another injection today and I do believe I feel that something is getting better. My body now feels warmer inside instead of always being cold and everybody saying how warm it is and me shivering. My hands are now warm too. It is my grandson's birthday tomorrow. Can't think how old he is - 23 or 24. He is coming with my daughter and they are going off into town afterwards. In the evening he is having a barbecue with friends. Lovely weather for a barbecue. Brings back memories of roasting a whole pig in Nigeria. But then we had servants to turn the spit the whole day to get it roasted evenly. Those were the days.

Hi all, Well, things are still improving, but not quick enough for me of course. It has been so warm today and a heavy thunderstorm this afternoon. They so as much rain fell this afternoon for the whole month. Johan had just watered the plants on the balcony - why did he bother he thinks! Am going to my youngest daughter on Sunday for coffee. She will be 49 years of age on Wednesday next but doesn't like having a house full of visitors any more. I have told her not to expect an apple tart as it is too warm to stand in the kitchen. I am going to make a few muffins tomorrow morning as my help is coming round with her two daughters. Her eldest daughter has to swim for her diploma tomorrow, so I told them to come round to let me see the diploma. This means giving her a small sum of money. Have managed to make a few Xmas cards. Never too early Sylvia xxx

Hi girls, I am feeling a bit knackered today, but that is because I couldn't sleep. I sat in the sittingroom the whole night, so will sleep ok tonight. I was just getting on top of my washing and ironing when my neighbour appeared this afternoon with another job for me. She bought a pair of her husband's trousers (new) which she wants shortened. I don't like these jobs, but I don't like saying "no". Johan is doing some work on my scootmobile so I cannot go out on my scooter, but I had planned other nice things to do, such as card making! I took too many tablets over the weekend and phoned the doctor and she has now given me extra tablets to see that the "cure" still finishes on the day planned. Cannot make any plans for holiday until I know how the tablets are helping me. Now, will try and keep in touch. Sylvia xxx

Hi Sylvia, do be careful with those tablets, try not to take too many.
Your neighbour seems to be taking advantage of you. I know you don't like refusing but your health must come first. Just tell her that you have something else on another time. It is a bit thoughtless of her when you have not been well.
I hope the tablets work and that you will soon be able to plan a holiday, sometimes the planning is more exciting than the holiday!!!
I made a couple of cards today, that makes about 9 this week so I have done well.
