I have just peeped out of my bedroom curtains & it's raining, you know that fine type, that gets you wet. That should cool it down a bit.

It's so hot again today, I don't know how the tennis players cope.

I think we've gone 24 hours without rain now. With all this heat and rain our gardens are lush. I think the last time we had to water the garden was in 1976 - it was a real scorcher that year.

What is rain? We haven't had any for weeks. If I wasn't carrying watering cans round all the pots and into the green house we'd have a desert down here. Ask Sue !!! Grass well thats pretty scrubby now, kinda yellow, so I can't tell the chilren to use the colour of grass...................... cos it's not green.

But what's the betting that it rains sunday when we need it dry.

Son & daughter-in-law have gone golf before it gets too hot. muggings here is child minding for a bit, good old grandma .....

It wasn't me ................... don't believe Shelly, she's fibbing !!!! Anyway I can't have any alcohol cos of the antibiotics. Actually glad to say they are working so not so bad. Even if I can't have a drink.

It was dull and overcast this morning, thought we might get some rain, but NO.
Did get the washing dry. Just been into town for gifts for my twolittle girls who leave next Wednesday and it's hot and sultry again but ONLY 28C

just been looking back on the 1911 cenesus i have to up date some new info iv got 2 children that died one say age 7 and the other one im not share if it say in inthancey

it just loks like i lowed of scribble
and in tyring to work out when one of them was born

so if it says age 7 would that mean age 7 in 1911 or could thay mean the child could of died say in 1909 at age 7?

I knew I would get the blame for the mess you made at Marilyn I didnt burn a hole in the carpet or the chair I dont smoke and I did not drink her wine I dont the others are to blame I would not have gone to the blasted party but they held my arms up my back and it hurt so I gave in. I had a dam long walk home as well I dont drive so I walked from Devon to Surrey there was no way I was going to get in a car with any of them they were really drunk Marilyn

OK, I admit it Marilyn - I drank the wine (well, me and Sue did), but I didn't make the mess. I'm not very heavy so it couldn't have been me who broke the bed either.

I'm sure I saw Shelly jumping up and down on the bed. And it was definitely Lady and Linda who were throwing mud around, it's these country folk - they like mud.

Rita was bashing all the ornaments with her walking stick, she thought you would feel sorry for her if she pretended to have a bad foot.

Edit: forgot to say, we had a thunder storm again this afternoon, stotted down.
