I am going to stay with my sister Shims she lives at Hampstead Heath. I usually go there three or four times a year. I was born in Willesden so on the outskirts of London but when I go we tour a round as though we are on holiday.
I love to walk a long the thames go for trips up the thames. I love going to The Royal Naval hospital and visit St George chapel.also to the Royal College of music.we often sit in the chapel and hear the students playing or singing. I often visit the museums the War one and the Toy one and Chelsea hospital. The Tate as you know have different artist work on display.
one day we walked over all the bridges to see how far we could go.
I also visit the Firemans memorial which is bronze and stands near St Pauls.. I take loads of films . many in Regents park.
so I come back to Surrey and need a holiday.

I think it's way past my bedtime.
A friend emailed me to say she had a door fall on her at work which knocked her unconscious(sp) and is not aloud to sleep for 10 hours, so I been chatting to her on another forum to keep her awake. The time is up in 50 mins & I need to sleep so I give in.
I have a day off work tomorrow to catch up with some friends from my previous employment.

Just doing my last little jobs before I go off to Hampstead. what a day it is dull and has been raining hard during the night. it looks like it will start again soon. I packed some summer things then changed my mind and put some warmer things in the case.

I had to phone and make an appointment for a blood test for my warfarin for when I come back. I was surprised as my form states I should come off it on 4th May and here I am having to make an appointment for 6th May.
I had so looked forward to stop taking it.

Found this on Page 6 and now lots of blanks posts, thought for a moment it was the same as happened in Shimms Pad 1 but no, can read poshpixies ... wipes brow (in a dainty way, is lady lol), thank goodness.

Sun's shining here (crosses fingers X), twas horrid yesterday yet on Sunday it was like a hot summers day; went for a walk, then gardened making more tubs and hanging baskets brimming with Petunias, Nemesia, Impatience, Portacala, Alyssum, upright/trailing Lobelias and more. Loving that weather, no need for a cardi ... hair in a pony, 'old' clothes on, hands in compost, mmm ...

Your holiday sounds perfect, just the type of things I adore doing. I luv Greenwich, The Tate, all sorts. My favourite place is The Embankment by Cleopatra's Needle, sitting looking at the Southbank brimming with people, cruisers and more on the Thames, The Savoy behind me then heading off to Covent Garden ...

Can't wait to hear all about it when you return. :)) xxx

Yes I have deleted my posts that have nothing on them so I poped in last night at about 11 & again this morning at about 9.
I should be renewing in 2 days time, which I havn't had the usual reminder by email so as I pay by cheque, there won't be enough time now for it to continue. I will renew but may leave it a few weeks but the downside will be I won't be able to keep my 2 waves either side of my user name :(

Well just to let you all know I have been DUSTING & POLISHING & WASHED the SHEETS & did the IRONING , & DID the VEGGIES for tomorrow,
Changed ALL the BEDS....HOVERED, did the SHOPPING and then flaked OUT ........LOL !!

Bought myself some flowers as a reward.....Hubby was getting too close to me for comfort, had to Shooo him away.....ALL because GR had a BREAKDOWN ..... !!!
