I have just looked at my sweet peas and they are like (Jack and the bean stalk ) I'll have to put them out soon ..

Marilyn ~ you can't beat M & S in my book. I was going to do Sweet Peas again this year but with everything going on, it's just not been possible. I do love sweet peas especially the smelly varities.

Tis such a glorious day here again, so lucky as it's been hot all week.

Went shopping Wednesday with my friend, bought a new top, planted up new pots with Busy Lizzies, Lobelia, Alyssum, Portacula, Nemesia and more, also made a hanging basket with Petunias and lots of hanging plants, ivy too.

Yesterday I went shopping again ... ouch, my back ... bought too much lol and don't drive! Bought another new top top, earrings too, planted more pots, then walked Cass. Lol, I was trying to post a birthday card, needed to 'beat' the postman, almost made it too. Ohhhhhhh, dear Cass, what is he like ... stopping at every lamp post, every bush ... ohhhhhhh, missed him by one minute, he was just taking the mail, drove off as I reached the postbox. Hey ho, there's always an evening collection, so fingers crossed it will arrive on time.

Wishing you all such a good day, have been up since 5am, had a bad night ... hopefully my early morning walk will refresh me.

Have the double glazers coming out too, a problem with our French door, one gets stuck in the middle of the runner!

Thats why I'm not going to put my sweet peas out until May is out even though, I'll be able to climb them soon.lol
I did a little test on 3 varieties USA ,Cyprus,and (?) Tishmarsh so I'm going to see which one is the best .
Lady they are all of the smelly varieties .

My Edward the bear didnt come from Harrods. but he is a big bear.

I have just got back from the hospital got there at 11.40 had to wait till 1.15 before I saw the consultant. she wants me to have a scan done. and a mamagrame and then they will see whether they need to do a kidney biospy. bit worried about that.
they said they want to make sure that I am getting the right treatment. after four months of injecting myself. they want to know what type it is. so I did not have a very good St Georges day.
we came out went to pay for the parking ticket.machine was not working so my son had to walk the lengnh of the hospital to find one that was working.
I( didnt get home till well after 2 and my son had to carry onto work he missed one afternoon meeting I hope he gets back in time for the other one.

Rita, sorry you didn't have an eventful day, at least the medical staff are looking into you for further treatment . if the machine was not working I think I would have parked there and left a note in the window to say so... and let them come after you for payment in the dept you were in ....,there does seem to be parking attendants checking up all day.
Never mind Rita a St George's day you wont forget !!

I'm going into hospital tomorrow for an operation on my ear, but hubby will drop me off ,no parking problems ,hopefully.

I have just bought 3 rose bushes I only wanted two, but if you bought 3 you got them for the price of 2 .....Oh did that make sense LOL

Well I did plant them thought it too nice to stay in today, so found a little corner for the one I didn't want , its a climber and got a lovely fragrance
