Hi everybody.

Marilyn it's freezing here as well, plus rain and gales.
Must be a shock to your system coming back to this.
Did you post the sun to me? Cos it isn't here yet!

Eeyore did the hospital tell you how long it would take to heal?
It seems to be taking a long time.

Are you any further forward with your search Sue?

Shelly I wish you could help with my search, but none of mine were in London. I think some of them were on a different planet, they don't seem to have been on this one.

I hope she can help you Shelly, a little bit of info can go a long way.

Depends how old they are though, one of my aunts is 90 and she should be able to tell me loads of things but she forgets. She's the only one left alive on mam's side and she remembers some things but gets them mixed up. She gave me the names of my gradfather's siblings but forgot to tell me his mother had been married twice, so I was looking for the wrong surname.

Marilyn, if you click on 'Last Reply', you'll get the last posting.

You might have to click on it 2 or 3 times for it to work though.

If you click on the little arrow next to 'More Pages'.............you'll be able to go to any page you want, including the last page.

Oh how funny..
I'm reading it all backwards...LOL

Thanks for that Pauline,I am stupid,,,,I know !!

I thought it was my this lappy I'm sure I did not have the page problems with my travel one.

Anyway I see you all have been busy bees with family research.
puts me to shame.
I did find a Marriage cert while I was away and going to get it on Monday.
I always thought they got married in Ireland but because the surname was spelt incorrect , I tried variations and bingo up it came, So one more step forward.

Going to do a roast today...YEYYYYYYYYYY.
Haven' t had a decent roast potato in weeks..!!

Seems a bit strange Shelly that you had to do that when there was nothing wrong with her.

Marilyn, you have to start at the bottom of the page and work up over when you've clicked on 'Last Reply'.

Shelly,

You could have all come to me for dinner,as I found a Turkey in the freezer that I forgot I had, its the one that my hubby should have taken out of the freezer just before Christmas for my dad and family, but he forgot. So I had to send him out for another fresh one as I was about to cook it !!
So all is welcome.......Turkey on me LOL

Shelly you was like me I loved my nan ,she used to sleep every Wednesday at our house and I slept with her, we used to talk about silly things and every other word was a swear one.
She used to sing silly songs with a pint of Guinness, and get carried away with her words. My mother was embarrassed and used to tell my dad to tell her off..
