I woke today feeling quiet ill. I had aches and pains in every part of my body my face was bright red and so were my eyes . my son called to take me for my appointment to St Lukes cancer hospital he said you had better tell them I told him they can see by looking at me.
The Doctor said he was pleased with the results for my blood test and to carry on with the injections but instead of giving 9 ml to only give 5 so I am going to do that for a month and see how things go.
He seemed quiet pleased with the way this treatment is going so I hope he is right.
when I walked into the hospital I was told to get a blood test done right away I did and as I was coming out of the unite I met a young women who was in hospital with me when I was rushed in last November with a blood clot on my lung she has cancer has had it for five years and has chemo they cannot cure it (like me.) but she is such a lovely person so happy go lucky and she has three young children. she said I didnt expect to see you here. ?
strange as I had wondered how she was only a few days ago and she was the first person I met when I went in.today.

Hi Rita,

So glad hospital visit went OK.
Maybe the doctor reduced your medication as a result of you not looking very well, It was probably to much for your body.
They know what they are doing so just go along with it and if for any reason you still feel unwell give them a ring, don't wait for your next appointment.
You do see some sad people in the cancer dept,I can remember a lovely young 15year old girl with a brain tumor in having chemo with me ,It was hard to believe......she took it all in her stride.
You gotta see it to believe it ......
Anyway Rita take it real easy and lots of rest...XX
