There have been plenty of statements in recent months put out to cause trouble rose. Some folks see through them and others don't.

I should perhaps also have added that neither person A , B or C is or was from Liverpool!

which is why I wished to dis-abuse Sylvia of her theory below that everything I write refers to the person / persons she refered to!

Here are two more of my poems...they have been on before...but just to show that I write all sorts :)

The Carers Poem

Too tired for tears, too tired to sleep,
too tired to care, no dreams to keep
Waiting, always waiting , for
the sounds that mean you're needed more.

No longer note the seasons pass
the autumn leaves,or emerald grass
Not sun,nor snow, nor winter frost
can touch the senses, they are lost.
No bird songs mask the ticking clock,
the life you knew,the seconds mock.

And when the one for whom you care
has gone,a worse life's waiting there
no point,no purpose,no life seeing,
no love ,no work ,no sense of being.

For all you hoped (the life denied)
has vanished with the one who died.
And now you must begin again
to struggle with a different pain.

To find the 'self' you were at last,
knowing that the best is past,
but hoping for a warm 'December'
in a life that only you'll remember.






Night Noises

There's a tapping and a tapping.
at my window, quickly rapping,
my nerves are set for snapping
as I listen for the slapping

and the sound of something small
by the front door in the hall
and the shadow on the wall
that the back light turns to tall

and the crying,no denying
my fancies now are flying,
as ones outside are sighing
but wait! my fears are dying

for the tapping ,and the rapping
are not ghostly or entrapping
and my nerves are not now snapping
for the gentle sound of slapping

is but swishes, and the wishes
(for a feline feast of fishes),
of a spirit that is pining
to be indoors and dining

(For TIPPY the cat!)
