I say the things in public view
and in the 'dark'
so why don't you?
Because we both know what you've said,
the words you dripped into his head.
the lie, just close enough to truth,
the 'crime' exposed, without the proof.
And if I choose to 'let it go'
don't think it's that i didn't know,
the fatal wound you tried to give.
But truth prevailed and still I live.

Don't be disingenuous
It really doesn't suit
A woman of your age.
It doesn't come out 'cute'.
Don't be writing homilies on love and loss and laughter,
we all can read the subtext
see who and what you're after.
Don't play dumb and ponder
why we don't see eye to eye.
Don't act the injured party
You know as well as I.
Don't poke the sleeping lioness
don't sneak behind her back.
Be grateful she's decided
not to have you as a snack!

you know that there are people on here who are happy to spread rumours...it happens everywhere on the web and in 'real' life ...nothing to decipher..those who spread rumours will recognise themselves instantly .. to those who don't it is just a piece of bad verse! lol
