has had a heart attack. Seems to be doing ok now, but makes you realise how fragile we are.

Please keep him in your thoughts.

Thanks everyone. He's in Leeds General at the mo, but hoping to get him back to Pontefract later today.

Even though you know your parents will probably get ill at some point, it's still a shock to the system when it happens isn't it. He should make a good recovery, but he is 80, so fingers crossed.

Thanks for caring everyone. It really does help.

Have to say that you heard all sorts of tales about the NHS, but the ambulance and nursing staff have been brilliant.
