Thanks again for your thoughts everyone.

Spent all today trying to sort things out, bank accounts, housing benefit, pensions, council tax etc. Why do they make everything so hard to sort out at a time when you really don't feel like doing it.

The funeral is next Monday, so I'm going back to work tomorrow. Need to get back to some kind of normality and so does Mum, so will give it a try.

I am so very sorry to read about your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Feeling a little bit better today. Mum stayed at our house all day yesterday, but went home last night. Seemed ok, phoning round all her friends (which I'm struggling with!). Will go to see her later on, but finding it really hard seeing all dads things around the place.
