I had to sit and wait for 15 yr old daughter to come back from town so I could watch a cable channel as . I could watch normal TV but didn't how to get the cable thingy on it....PMSL....Its as bad as my mother and her VD player , she said I hear it but see no pictures...I said thats coz its a CD....lol

In my defence its a new one and Itsmytelly doesnt normally let me watch it....lol

My daughter keeps telling the kids that Nanny used an abacus at school and a slate with chalk.

BC I would swap it for the GHD's........there is another reason buts it far to embarassing to tell you....lol

Well ...in our house there are remotes for everything....and I was using the wrong one much to my daughters amusment....lol

Have you tried switching the telly over with your mobile?


And once, I was waiting for an important phone call... didn't have a mobile... so took my cordless housephone shopping with me, lol!!

Well I can beat the lot of you.

the other night OH and I decided we would watch a video (nowt on telly etc etc)

We both sat, crossed legged in front of the machine, pressing various remotes and wondering why the video didnt shoot out the little tray thingy to accept the video!!

I said, it must be stuck - so pushed my finger into the appropriate apperture, only to find it was a flap!!! Errr dumbo!

How quickly technology overtakes us)))
