As a shop assistant:

Why don't customers say please/thank you?

Why do customers think it is OK to talk on their mobile when you are serving them and there is a queue to the door?

Why do custoimers think it is OK to slap money on the counter with no comment but expect the change to be put in their hand with a thank you and smile?!!

Customer service works both ways.

I always say please and thankyou, expletives are always saved for under the breath,

Manners will always win in the end. Men in suits please take note

One more thing that slighlt irritates me but is more a burden:-

Having to take it easy for a day or more after getting over thw worst of a cold, stomach bug, or after dental surgery. I know they are doctors orders but especially after a cold, you want to be active again.

Getting pounced on by eager sales assistants especially in furniture shops. Dont they realise that 'shoppers' are more likely to buy something if left to browse in peace!!!

Benjamin Report 17 Mar 2008 19:25

Yes, that is very annoying. Even if you say no, they still ask you would you like something else. If I get hassled by shop assistants, I just leave the shop.

Drivers that toot their horns when you are at a junction and are waiting to go when it is safe to do so--no patience but I would rather be safe than sorry,

The lemmings that cross at the traffic lights outside our M&S, in front of oncoming traffic. Why can't they wait just one minute for the lights to change and the green man?

Helen, about parents and children in supermarkets, I have just realised that children must be on their Easter break......it will be a nightmare in Tescos......

It is mainly the Mums screaming at their children to behave, when it is the Mums who are making the most noise.....

My alcholic female teacher next door neighbour. Footballers who seem to think its ok to spit (hockle) or blow their noses (without hankie) on the field even if they have only been on 2 mins. Snobs, bigots, gossip merchants, rude peeps. I know there are more but am getting narked thinking about these lot. lol. p.s folk who stare at my 5 year old son when he has a melt down, he looks normal and I was wondering if I should get Yes I'm autistic tattooed on his forhead so they will know:(

Victoria Beckham, and everything about her, irritates the heck out of me.

K I agree with the Victoria Beckham bit (copied and pasted to save having to type it.

Everything about her is cringeworthy - she makes you just want to throw up.

Anyway, now she's got her dosh let's hope she naffs off to live on a remote desert island so we never have to hear of the woman again.
