The udder is the milk bar for the lambs..................just like a cows udder, you can see the teats if the sheep stands in the right place long enough.

The lambs are in the womb...............same as all mammals:))

You look very intelligent, but I'd worry about the person who said the udder was where the lambs were :))

Hi Jenny,
The udder is actually two halves... the crease is just accentuating it.

The lambs are in the uterus and are really no different to a human in that respect.

The Udder will 'bag up' which means it will get bigger the nearer she is to lambing.

Jenny...The first sign that the lambs are coming is the appearance of the water bag. The bag will be filled with a clear fluid. Once the water bag breaks, the lambs should be born within 30 minutes. On the web cam this may not be very clear but they will look swollen round that area
