TW my husband is Irish and your tea is the bees knees as far as he is concerned but you cannot have peas and carrots its got to be boiled cabbage and if there is cheese sauce on the side well he would be in heaven!! lol. I myself hate it.

Didn't know what GHDs were either. Mind you, I don't need them, you've never seen hair straighter than mine...lol...

Now I have always served it with a cauliflower cheese and a jacket spud, but OH doesn't like cheese sauce either...but loves peas and carrots (personally I'm sick of em pmsl)

I begrudge paying so much money for something that I would hardly be bothered to use LOL. That said... I've been looking at the ones in the shops and can't even bring myself to pay 30quid nevermind 100. LOL.

I will say, on behalf of curly people like myself, GHD's now mean that we have a choice, straight or curly. That is a priviledge that up to a couple of years ago only straight -haired people had.

I've had perms before to keep within some styles, but with already very dry hair you would not believe the damage it done and how long it took to get the condition back again.

Yes they are expensive,but I think they are well worth it.

Where did you get them TW? My hair isn't curly but is prone to kinking and frizzing especially if I wash my hair at night and leave it to dry on its own, which I do occasionally. I'm not much good at blow drying either so usually end up needing to use straighteners when I've used the hairdryer lol

Tina, hairdressers are ridiculously expensive these days...

Just a cut and blow dry round here is about £25 on average.

mm Roasters love roast pototoes especially if they have been slightly over-done lovely and crispy with hardly any spud left inside. yummy.

Got a dry cut for £5.50 at the walk in place in our market :-) She did a good job too.... it's her fault for me even thinking about straighteners!

I have used GHD's for a few years now - they are the best invention ever!!!

You have to keep you hair in good condation....I have mine trimmed about every 6 / 8 weeks....
