Daff you keep calling me Lincs not Lancs- different county!

Darn it.... so I do.... and I know that I mean Lancs....not Lincs... cos that is where my little granddaughter was born and lives, lol!! She is beginning to sound like an extra from Corrie, lol!! (she'll be three soon)

It was me that reported it-not because of your thread Ann, it was because of the awful comments made against Jude, and she not being here to defend her self I thought it was bang out of order.

Thanks LL.... *chuckles* got out of making a mistake that time... she sounds sooooo cute when she's on the phone.... and she is encouraged to be really broad by her parents... both of whom have grown up with no definable accent!... my other granddaughter is a Yorkshire Lass...... she is only just begining to talk... and it is *Tat* for everything, lol! I can't wait to hear them in a couple of years time when they are together... Emmerdale and Corrie!!

My kids have a strange mix. Hubbie is Glaswegian so there is this odd rolling of 'r' s now and again as well as the Lancs accent.


Mine is a mix or Yorkshire & lancs because i am right on the border. (er ..lancs side i hasten to add), so i don't have the Manchester twang. (thankfully) that the Corrie folks have.

Its nice again on general even though i'm posting on Ann of GG's 'abusive' posting. feels like I've gone off on a tangent.

Hi Catherine - someone made nasty comments about our Jude?? How very dare they - she's lovely - I don't care the thread has gone but it turned out to be lovely in the end!

Actually my mistake-I just realised it wasn't your thread Ann it was Julie cats 'Sulks' that I reported the comment was about Jude-so apologies Ann-it wasn't me.

Anne, you did nothing wrong hun, like someone else said you just got the standard 'your thread has been removed because someoen reported it' email which happens to contain the word abusive. It may not have even been anything you typed but the content of the thread itself, but its hard to report an entire thread.


Take no notice, just enjoy your new status. You are now a member or the elite 'I've had a thread removed club' lol

I did not see any comments made against Jude, I must have gone to bed before that. If I had seen it I would have reported it.

I admire you saying comments made against Jude were being bang out of order. as she wasn't able to defend herself. Its not nice and is upsetting when you are on the receiving end

But maybe you could have extended the same gesture when you watched & defended your same friend as she shamelessly attacked another member who also wasn't here to defend herself

Or does it all depend on not whats right, but who your friend is ?
