If it was because you insinuated said lady was the worse for wear, then Gr would remove it after a complaint as it breaches their t& c should it be possibly untrue

(Damaging someones reputation or summit like that)

Personally I just commented that I was just fed up with seeing another performance and declined to post a comment on said threads on Chat, as I have had a spiteful backlash the last time, as others did.

It was not worth the involvement :o))

Dont take Grs message to heart, I'm sure most of us have said similar on here before even though it probably is wrong to do so.

I just think GR removed all the threads re the 'incident' over on chat? (by request of a few I imagine!)...most of us who frequent it (LOL..) went off to do other things as it was not a good evening there!....pity because it has been peaceful lately.....and had been pleasant all day till then...even between 'opposing' supporters of the footie and rugby LOL

As I am new to posting on the chat (3 days ) the postings last night really did surprise me and I agree with Lancs Lass. To be honest I thought I'd strolled on to The Jerry Springer Show.
I feel a bit awkward joining in ,like I'm butting in on someone else's conversation. Is there any etiquette for the boards ? . I would not like to get on the wrong side of anyone.
One more thing could you please tell me what lol means

What I find annoying is its ok to post all over a board what seems to be an off site personal row, yet if people comment on whats going on, or on the persons conduct they get reported to abuse.

LOL means laugh out loud !! There is a whole thread on abreviations I'll try and find it for you.

There's no etiquette. Just hop on and join in.

havn't been here long myself- but they are a friendly bunch and don't bite. Feel safe on general but I don't go near chat. Feel a bit like a fish out of water.

Don't ask what pmsl means?! Had to ask my daughter (14) and was shocked with answer

Quoy, lol means Laugh out Loud or Laugh on Line.

There is a list of them somewhere.. I'll pop and have a look in a mo.

Most of the time it is brilliant on the boards... but as with real life, people have spats, or don't get on, or whatever..... it soon gets back to normal, though.

There will always be a light hearted thread for you to join in with, if things are hotting up elsewhere.... just try and avoid the hotspots when they are happening.

Other than that... just join in... or put up your own thread introducing yourself, that is always a good start!
