Aw! But now the boys, two of them, have grown up and left home. I miss them, sooooooo much! Daughter is still here and sooooooo annoying!!! But I do love them all !

How can any father not love his children? This I do not understand. How could he leave them?

welll, when i walked , with the 3 kids, we went with the clothes we stood in,but have a great life now!!!! My sons wouldnt have their own cars,(theywould have nicked others) and maybe..........my my daughter would still be alive??? who knows???

I was really lucky. I managed to keep the house and all the contents. He was the one who had to move out! With nothing but his clothes.

Otherwise, I don't know what I would have done, what with having three young children.

But everything, in those days, was a mountain. The car was mine, but going out with three young children? What if I ran out of petrol? What if I got a flat tyre? How would I deal with it? How could I manage to take three young children in a swimming pool, by myself?

Eventually, I learned. Eventually, we did everything together. If one didn't want to go swimming, no one went! Or the two would persuade the one! We gave each other confidence and helped each other.

I stopped loving and respecting my then husband as soon as the beatings started. I knew I wanted out, pretty much as sson as it all started,,,,,,,,but I got kind of lost in this vacuum of low self esteem and stuff and thinking .."maybe this is my lot"......anyway I did get out.......NEVER say NEVER to love again tho.........My now husband is the best thing that happend to me.........we been together 13 years now.......

Hee! Hee! When my ex remarried and wanted me to see about the flowers for the wedding and make sure our daughter was fitted for her bridesmaid's dress.

I told him I ought to get an invitation to the wedding! He didn't contact me for 18 months after that!

hayley ...i rented a flat , me Mum an Dad helped with the deposit . That first day after I moved in and shut MY door was the new begining . It was damp scanky , but it was mine an my 3 year old sons . I fitted a plug on the kettle all on my own ... we stood back and IT WORKED !!!.

I still do not know how I got from Wandsworth...just found myself sitting at a bus stop in Hastings...1 suitcase,1 pushchair & holding tightly to my toddler.

Ladybird - You reminded me - my brother (before he gave up cigs) used to say that a cup of coffee and a cig does less harm than a Valium!!!

Oh, Lindy , you have hit thenail on the head there! my ex has lost his 3 kids and me , and no-one wants him now!!
