Hi Is johnson the mother's maiden name as its showing in every siblings name? Where did u find those info was it on ancestry or freebmd or other sites? I am seeing my dad tomorrow so deffo going to ask him some questions as he always said she was born a collins but looking at your responses it dont look that way she was deffo dormer and always have up to marriage and she was even a dormer on her death cert as her maiden name. Just wondering if she was born a collins and then changed to dormer before she got married would it show as dormer or collins on death as its showing as dormer? Will reply later Clare

Clare, I got those from FreeBMD. Do you have access to the marriage cert? Seeing as Thomas was listed as deceased, I'm wondering if the story got a bit mixed up. Perhaps she was born Dormer and her mother married a Collins after Thomas died? Rose

Hi to Portland Rose Yeah i do have access to the certificate. Yes that could be possible! That mother married a collins after Thomas died. Is it possible if u could find a death for Thomas as i have searched many times before but couldnt find it. I have searched on my nan's side for 18 months... and the information u gave me was the 1st proper breaktrhough i have had! Many thanks and am really grateful Clare

Hi Thats another question i need to ask my dad. About the death my dad remembered a few months ago that one child died aat about 4 but he couldnt remember the details... although i must admit.. i know a bit of rose.... margaret..... alfred........and florence but nothing on lilian so that probably what my dad was talking about is lilian. Hi Finding the death for Thomas has been difficult. Spoke to my dad today and he doesnt really know much just said that edith had a complicated life when she was younger but didnt say what sort of life though. So I have told my dad to get her birth certicate for me and find out more from there. I believe she is deffo born edith dormer and also the siblings names match with edith's mom maiden name. Many thanks to all whos been looking for me. Clare
