Hi Alter Ego, thanks for the offer. Can't find this family after 1891. In 1881 the family lived at 3 Star Row Llanvihangel Llantarnam Monmouthshire. hurlstones found grandfather in 1901 census sydney frost hurlstone [son] of household in derbyshire now trying to trace rest of family goig back to dursley where he was born thank for any help you can give david [pale] |

I thought that I might set you a challenge as you appear to be so talented. I cannot find Henry Crutchley born in Ravensthorpe, Northants in 1854 in the 1881 census. I can find him every other census but not that one. have done David's request on My thread when he asked!( and in some depth) Pippa - are you sure that is the same man? he seem so have lost 9 years in age betwen the two census that you have! |

Thanks for looking at it Jess. Yes he is the same man. As soon as he marries Mary who is really Polly ( - that caused me a headache) he gets younger every year! I think it was the stress of having a much younger wife. He managed to die six years younger than he was - must be a miracle. Pippa |
