Babs, when you merge and add an image, you can find it by going to the person in question, at the end of their name will be like a scroll and it will have a black corner. When you click on this you get a box come up saying citation, then further down it in that box it has images, you click on this and hey presto. You can also add them this way. |

I felt the same until I started to use it. I don't use all the fancy formulas and all that math stuff except to add up a column of simple numbers. Maths is my pet hate by the way. I must admit it took a while to enter the info first time round but now I can just slot things in as and when I feel the need. Anyway time for bed me thinks I am definitely losing the plot today Night all. |

Maureen thanks for that , I had done that before and it must have been a birth one as there was nothing inside, but just checked on another for a census and hey it was there;; Very good that so you are saying you can add a image that you already have onto that page as well;; Perrenmaid, dont know how to do a excel sheet never mind make a fancy one;; |

Hi Babs Charting Companion - I am using laptop at moment, so can check it. It came ona seperate disc, but was inside one of the FTM disc cases, I received 3 cases. Open up Charting Companion, if you go to file open, you can either browse to find a FTM programme or it can scan and find them for you. You choose a relative then decide which kind of tree you want, you can choose colours to use, fonts etc. I havent used it yet as I cant print from here. To be honest I think FTM 2006 has more options as you can choose borders etc. FTM - images, as long as you have saved them to your ocmputer you can add the. I save all the bmd pages and add them as you can't add the image directly from the merge. As a tip I save the image as e.g An Other Birth reg Q3 1877 Ipswich 1a 56, then I have the ref quickley to hand if I need to order a cert. |
