I was starting to feel a bit sad , but I know they are hard to find I have almost given up on them, just been looking for Rebeccas birth no luck so far thanks for your reply .

Its in London I believe , this is the family of that pest John Thomas keen the one who married and then disappeared.

do you know what I have the most terrible Headache and should really be lying down but I am getting so obsessed with this lot couldnt let it go , and I am out tomorrow ALL DAY much to my disgust. hi somebody else has been researching them so he had some of the info. I do have the marriage for the parents the eldest Daughter and the Son and some history from others who are related to the girl John Thomas married

so, who did the eldest daughter marry, where and when

hi she married a Thomas Richard Knight in 1868 Hoxton Middlesex, she was living at Windsor Place Shoreditch according to the marriage Cert ,the witnesses were John Thomas Keen and his sister Mary Ann Keen so I know they were definitely still alive in 1868 so should be on 1841 and 1851 and 1861 census

Ah just thought the writing was so faint it could have been anything. Just had a look on the BMD and it could be the parents died between 1841 - 51. Germaine x

hi again Germaine I did wonder that myself so have searched for just the children on the Census too but still nothing ,I wonder if he died and she remarried and gave the kids different surnames or something.

Yes that is a thought I know I spent months looking for my G Grandfather name Meadows but no his mother had married and he was Ball !!! till he got married. Worth having a look for that I have gone bog eyed looking for them with their parents. Germaine x

Hi know what you mean, I have just found a Mary Ann Keen aged 1 on the 1841 census born in Middlesex but dont understand the census she is not with any other family members could you take a look and tell me what sort of place it is and why she would be there by herself ?? its HO107/738/11 registration district Westminster St Margaret ED Institution or vessel 24 Folio 30 page 6

Sorry took so long Valerie was having some tea. It looks like she is with a family now could it be relatives or was she adopted. Looks like a normal street with families in .. Off to see if I can find the family she is with in 51. Germaine x
