Hi Julie I will try the LDS site. I did see the other wade family and thought it must be a relation. Looked at it again and feel you are possibly correct. he would have been the eldest son and named after his dad, as they did in those days. His age is right for a son and he is 3 years older than James, the second son.It is interesting that John senior and John junior are both SMITHS, and from Lambeth, and their respective spouse were from Poplar and Holborn. I am going to search for John junior's birth and see what we come up with. Thanks for you help. Bill |

hiya bill, no problem, just bugging me now as to how hard this family is to find, oh, BTW dont know if i mentioned it before, but looked for births 1838/39 for edwin and couldnt find anything at all, praps he wasnt reg'd, just baptised/christened, I know it doesnt help much but i thought i'd mention it Julie |
