yes it's difficult when there are so many of the same surname, there are a lot of Gaspers and Rozarios, of different spellings so it's important not to assume they are all connected :-)

It is specifically Florence M Gasper nee Rosario who can't be found on the India records on FMP :-)

I would make the assumption ( tis just that ) that as George came over as a student 1956 it is likely that his parents came later so after 1960?

My guess would be that only church records might exist for a marriage of Florence to Benniah, and that they are not online if so.

Serena just wondering, if Mary Olive Gaspar married in 1967, was it in a Catholic ceremony? might indicate that's how they were raised before coming here? Just a guess though and you'd still be left having to find records in India.

You've added to an old thread (the last post was in 2018), and "FindingMyPast" probably won't see your message here.

You can try sending a private message, by clicking on FindingMyPast's name at the top of one of his/her posts, and using the resulting form.

If he/she hasn't changed email address since 2018, GR will email notification of your message.
FindingMyPast may then reply - or not, for many possible reasons..

As Argyllgran has said - you need to remove your email address (check T & c section 8).
If you don't you are liable to have your post reported and you won't necessarily be informed that your post has gone.
