hi no i didnt find much im told that leonard george carter married rosemary in hampshire possiable married about 1900 ish after marriage they lived in a house in hamilton road portchester hants they had a son christopher george who married pamela dunkley hope this helps but its not much rita

Can't see them in 1901 or 1911, nor Leonard & Rosemary's marriage, nor any likely birth for Christopher in that area.
Hamilton Road is now industrial estate / warehouses, but I expect it was bombed during the war.

If you have Christopher & Pamela's marriage cert, it will tell you his age, which might give you more of an idea of when his parents might have married (if they did - maybe they just lived together.)

NO second forename for the male...................get a copy of the cert for AGE info

Pamela was almost certainly not born until 1932....................so I think your reference to 1900 is possibly misleading

hi the marriage is correct Christopher was my son in laws father Pamela says christophers father was leonard but I have found Christopher George instead not all are called by the right name this leonard had 12 siblings with names like elijh ambrose freddy violet mayedward ect

Pamela was born 19 /4 /1931

If she was born in Hampshire then it would be 1932 not 1931

Easy solution.................get a copy of the marriage cert. for father's name (if known)

The names of the witnesses may also prove helpful

Surely Pamela knows when her husband was born.......even if she isn't sure where
