Same family 1901 - now he is a horsehair brush curler, so I guess might be yours with his varied occupations! Doesn't get you any nearer sorting out the Wilkinson problem though in any case. |

-just to add that Rose Wilson, spinster, born about 1884, daughter of John Wilson horsehair brush curler married Albert Bell, age 22, boxmaker in 1905 in Bethnal Green. |

Obviously Rose could have been born anywhere, but as we have to start somewhere I have looked for births 1884-1886 (no middle initial) in London and there are only 2: |

I was thinking about this when Rose and Walter had children and I beleive they did because an elderly relative told me but she is no longer with us. |

I suspect, as you say, that the Rose I have put in other censuses is wrong - this is her 1911 (occ. box maker, same as 1901) and as yet unmarried: |

Sorry if I have missed this, but have you considered getting the birth cert for Albert, as put on previous page? If it is the right one it should give his father's name. |

Violet M POOLE definitely seems to be the correct person, but the index seems to indicate that there may be no mention of the WILSON surname on her birth certificate. |

If I were sending for a birth cert I would risk sending for Albert's. If incorrect it's money wasted, but if his mother is Rose it will tell you more. |
