I have ancestry but my computer will only read to me printed matter I have this ref: for W.W.1. I know one of the pages there is a letter from a Rose Wilkinson saying that the soldier in question has taken on her son I am not sure which page it is of the 23 pages please could someone tell me what it says thankyou |

Thank you for looking Rose was not his daughter he marriesd A rose Wikinson in 1918 she had a son and before I lost my sight and really wish I had made a note of it then I was sure there was a letter from this Rose saying that he had taken on her son thanks anyway |

There is a request dated 2.9.18 by the Officer in charge of Records for the birth certificate of Rose Poole. |

On the page of documents where Walter Poole's children are mentioned, there is note of an Albert Wilkinson born 16.9. 1917 ( year blurred) He was born in Shoreditch |

As I remember that is what it said I know Wajter Albert married a Rose Wilkinson in 1918 i have the certificate her fathers name was a John Wison on that certificate so I do not beleive the the child Born in 1817 Albert Wilkinson was the son of Walter Albert Poole |

Hi Jan I have got their marriage certificate Walter Albert Poole to Rose Wikinson in 1819 and she is down as a widow but I can't find a marriage for a Rose Wilson to a Wilkinson. Wilson was her maiden name her fathers name was John Wilson |
