Hi,

Are you able to look up Elizabeth Switzer bn 1846 in 1851 and 1861?
I think she was born in Manchester or Kent. She married Charles Hudson and first child was Switzer 1869.

Would like to find out her parents and any siblings

The only Elizabeth Switzer i can find in 1861 census
was born in Hampshire in 1847

The sons name was Switzer Hudson 1869
Have 1881 and 1901 info for them but not any for Elizabeth before she got married.


Charles her husband was born 1838 in Cossington Leicester

Is it possible to look up John Cropper in the 1851 Census. I believe he was still in
England at that time as he came to
Australia about 1855

I have had a look but i don't seem to be able fine any thing did he marry in Australia if he did what was his wife name if you go on to familysearch.org put in his name and his wife hopefully some thing will come up i will carry on searching from my end best of look regards claire

I am looking for my father's family - Bristow of Roxeth, Harrow, Middlesex.

(My father George Frederick Bristow was born 1904. He was the youngest of 9?)

His parents names are Harry Thomas Bristow married to Emma Elizabeth Collins in 1883.

I have had no luck with the 1901 census.

As there are so many MURPHY's around this will be interesting.
Information I have is:
Michael MURPHY (1840) -he was a stone mason.
Married Elizabeth CALER (c1841).
His father was born in Cork, John MURPHY (1820), may have possibly married a May ..?(c1821).
(this is as far back in that tree that I can go...so many brickwalls)
Michael and Elizabeth had my Great Grandfather Denis MURPHY (1866), then he married Emma TUCKER (1878). Two generations later I was born.
Any help would be great and hopefully get me over that hill...
