Hi Claire, Yes Ralph did live and went on father my mother. Ihave tried to find them for ages on the 1901 census with no luck! Just hoping someone could.

Hi Claire, Yes Mary and John are husband and wife. I'm not sure of the year they were bornexcept I was told by my mother (now deceased) it was approx. 1870. Does this help.

I'm hoping for some reference to my G G Grandmother Maria and any children they may have had at that stage. He certainly was born in Brighton and she may have been. I'm hoping you can find this family in 1871-Alexander Elder,born Croslet ,Ross-shire,Scotland about 1802,a mason;wife Isabella Elder(nee Nicol) born Sarclet,Caithnesshire about 1811.They were in 42 Kirmeddar Street,Drainie parish,Morayshire in 1861 and before that in Stotfield,Drainie.In 1861 they had with them a daughter Isabella born 1840 at Stotfield,Drainie,Morayshire ,a laundress, and a son John Nicoll Elder born 1836 at Sarclet,Wick,Caithness and now working as a mason.They also had a daughter Margaret born 1845,Drainie, working as a servant to another family at the same address.Hoping you'll find them easily,

LAVINIA MAY ROBERTS (she maybe under Ford or Evans) bn - 1908 died- 1971

HERBERT ROBERTS (bub) bn - 1905 died- 07.10.1977
Married--
ELSIE MAY ROBERTS bn -1912 died- 20.01.1975

All the rest i have to go on is, T.H.Roberts(1915) was born in South Wales--could be under Pontypool registrict. I dont know where the rest was born BUT they are all buried in the same cemetry in S.Wales
If you cant help me do you know what i could possibly do to find anything out as my family does not know anymore...?????

Just to double check this is the same family John & Mary Ann Davey in 1851 address is Census 2: 1851, Pembroke House Asylum, Hackney. Is this the same family that your looking at.
