	hi ive been able to find a bit of info on emma james c 1899 ie her place of birth which was stepney london c1899 her parents were john calvin james florence musslewhite i am trying to trace her marriage details to confirm that she was married to john ranson in london around 1916-1920 and any children born to them grateful if you are able to assist with this info if not thank you anyway

	Have you looked on www.freebmd.org.uk??? That's where we all look to find this kind of information. They have records currently input to as late as 1925, and even into the 1930s for some areas. Mother's maiden name shows on birth registrations from 1911 onwards, so you can also look on there for any children born. Otherwise, you will ahve to ask someone to search quarter by quarter on the Complete Index on Ancestry ..... unless you have a subscription to that site. sylvia
