Hello Linda If this thread is still open 1851 Could you look for: William & Hannah Dunnell (Donnell, Donald, Dunhill) living Hamsterley area possibly South Bedburn Wm aged 34 & Hannah 30 (approx) both born Yorkshire Wm occ Ag labourer or similar Family includes Mary 8, Jane 6, Hannah 4 & Ann 2 (approx) all born Durham (Hamsterley/Bedburn area) Thanks Shelly

Could you please look for Thomas Gardner who married Jane Savage 1853 at Benfieldside. Their son Robert was born December 1861 at 153 Black Hill, Benfieldside. I would be grateful for any census information you can find.

Durham Thomas Gardner head m 28 boiler plate roller DUR Tantobie Jane Gardner wife m 32 NBL Newcastle Matthew Gardner son unm 3 DUR Blackhill Elizabeth Jane Gardner dau unm 2 DUR Blackhill Thomas Gardner & Jane Savage were married 1853 according to Durham registration site. regards Linda
