His family include Rose wife 36 born South Killingholme Eveline 4 born Vleeby can you check spelling of her name please. Elize 7 born South Killingholme lincs. (Could be Grace Elizabeth) Herbert 12 Born Vleeby Alice 10 born Thornton Curtis lincs Frank 9 born Thornton Curtis All ages given are for 1901. Please can you see if there is a Herbert Gray staying with them. He would be 34 and born in Barton on Humber. If he is there can you see what his relationship is to John. Hi Margaret Yes that does look like one of my families. Thanks so much for that. Please don't take this wrong but i have just had a look on the 1901 decoder and found my Herbert on there. He his 34 living in Barton on Humber but i still can't find out who he is living with. He is a jar distillers clerk. You know when you did that second search for me the one giving me a list of all the Herberts in Lincolnshire. You spelt Gray with an A would you come up with a different list if you spelt it Grey? I hope i haven't offended you. I really do appriciate all the help you are giving me. Thanks again Jane

Hi Jane don't worry - you won't offend me! The reason you might find a result that I didn't is that Ancestry has only some of the 1901 census, not all of it. The official 1901 census website is the only place to get the complete thing but obviously they charge to view it. I did look up both spellings of Gray/Grey but I will put the result for Grey here for you to look at.
