Hi, I do not live in the UK and I need help in finding my grandmas parents. Her father was called William Towers and he was born in 1869 in Carnforth Lancs. He should be on the 1901 census and I am wondering if his wifes name will be on it. Any help will be very much appreciated. Regards to you Carol.

thank you Margaret. sorry for not responding to you before but i couldnt find the thread anymore and thought it had been deleted! looking back at my original message i see i didnt give you enough information about their ages, i really am sorry. i have been reading all the tips on the message boards and am slowly getting to grips with this! on the 1901 census William was showing as being 31 and Sarah as 33. Sarahs date of birth is 7th April 1867. so on the 1891 census they should be appox 21 and 23. i cant find them anywhere. but thank you so much for looking. Di
