When I was last up at London I took photocopy's of Certificates regarding my Johnstone family. There are many more names relating to England and military. If you post a message I will look through the certificates, but I have not indexed them yet. RICHARD- looking at old records of mine, none on there. Started looking through new records and noting so far, but I will let you know by the end of the day ( 500+names on bapt, marriage, death, burial, wills,probate). |

wills and probates- cover people with India heritage...even people who died in England/egypt etc If family was military then yes the baptism's may show up in my records. Record's i have vary and include some Madra's and Bombay Presidency records, but mostly Bengal Pres. |

GWEN;- These are the only MARTIN'S i have William (Charles) MARTIN died 03/08/1889, buriasl at St Matthews, Moulimein age 1 year and () months. son of Mr J.A MARTIN William clare MARTIN died 28th June 1888, age 2 months, congestion of the lungs. father is not mentioned. burried same place as the above Mary Beryl MARTIN born 09/10/1909 baptized 25/10/1909, at the Assumption Church, Madras. daughter of Joseph Clifford MARTIN and Mary his wife. occupation of father=train examiner Mary Antony MARTIN, born 08/09/1909, bapt same church 18/10/1909. parents = John MARTIN and (F.J) MARTIN.occupation of father=clerk sorry, but it may be of use anyway |
