I can't see him. Do you have the references for that?

I suppose it's possible that the enumerator had a funny five minutes in the home of George T Brown in 1861 - so MANY people and so MANY George T Brown's! Maybe Sarah and the baby just got missed off??? Merry

Still can't find him!! Lynn, have you seen Abraham on the 1861 census, or is it that you just know his marital status and occupation and where he was living at that time?? It's just that Sarah and baby George might be with him and if part of the census is missing, that might explain why we cannot find Sarah and George anywhere in 1861. Do you know which parish in Leicester includes the street name you mentioned for Abraham?? Merry

What is the address on George's birth cert? Was it Coventry Street? If so, what number?

Originally it said Upper Charles Street, so I had assumed George T Brown b 1860 was born in the home of his Brown Grandfather, but now I see the reply is amended!! Merry
